Sierra Simmons, MSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC
Sierra Simmons is certified as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner by the ANCC. She received her BSN from Abilene Christian University in 2019, followed by an MSN from University of Texas at Arlington in 2024. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she was a bedside nurse where she worked in several departments including Cardiovascular ICU, cardiac catheterization lab, and in outpatient cardiology. During her career as a registered nurse, she obtained her Cardiac-Vascular Nursing certification (CVN). As a nurse practitioner, Sierra specializes in advanced heart failure and electrophysiologic disorders.
Sierra will work primarily with Dr. Varughese and Dr. Mughal.
Outside of work, Sierra's pastimes include traveling to new places, exercising, and spending time with her family and husband, Klaud. She grew up in Burleson, TX, and currently is residing in Fort Worth.
