COVID-19 Update

The Heart Center of North Texas is taking all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of patients and staff due to the Coronavirus situation. The practice has instituted screening process for all patients and visitors as they enter the building. This screening is mandatory and will involve a temperature check and completion of a questionnaire.

Anyone that presents with potential signs / symptoms will be rescheduled.

Michael Nizinski

Michael Nizinski, MPAS, PA-C

Michael Nizinski, MPAS, PA-C is a certified Physician Assistant.

Hailing from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he completed Chatham University’s 3+2 Physician Assistant program, collaborating with faculty from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine to use techniques in electrocardiography (ECG) to explore the relationship between heart rate variability, cardiorespiratory fitness, and mental status. As a Physician Assistant student, he completed training in preventative cardiology under Stephen D. Newman, M.D. at The Heart Center of North Texas and trained at Cleveland Clinic and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), among other medical centers.

He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). He is also certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

In his personal life, he enjoys baseball, hiking, road trips, drumming, and music. He played the drums for his church in Pennsylvania and varsity baseball for Chatham University. He considers it a blessing and privilege to call Texas his home and serve the Weatherford and Fort Worth communities.
