COVID-19 Update

The Heart Center of North Texas is taking all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of patients and staff due to the Coronavirus situation. The practice has instituted screening process for all patients and visitors as they enter the building. This screening is mandatory and will involve a temperature check and completion of a questionnaire.

Anyone that presents with potential signs / symptoms will be rescheduled.

Debby

Debby L Polozeck, APRN, CNP is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner by American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is originally from Maryland and attended high school and completed licensed practical nursing program before enlisting in the USAF. She served six years Active Duty before transitioning to the USAF Reserves. She obtained her Associate's Degree in Nursing from McClendon Community College and Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. After receiving her Bachelor’s, she returned to service in the US Army as a direct commission in the US Army Nurse Corps. While working full time in nursing and raising a family of three, she obtained her Master’s Degree in Nursing and specialized in Family Nurse Practitioner. She returned to Active Duty with the Army and completed her final tour of duty at Fort Sill, OK where she worked as both a direct care provider of newly enlisted soldiers and Brigade Surgeon to oversee all medical assets to include six providers and thirty-eight medics. While in the US Army, she obtained both Trauma Certification and Victim Advocate Certification. Debby has been in the nursing profession for thirty-two years and has vast experience in bedside nursing, clinic, ER, and leadership.

Debby is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Texas Nurse Association. She holds certifications in BLS, ACLS and PALS. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, reading, and spending time with her family that include husband of twenty-five years, three adult children and four grandchildren ages 19 months to 13. She joined Heart Center of North Texas in March of 2024 and supervising physician, Dr. Mott.
