Farhan Ali, M.D., M.P.H., F.A.C.C., F.S.C.A.I.

Farhan Ali was born in Norwalk, Connecticut and grew up in Fort Worth, Texas.  He received his Bachelor of Arts at Washington University in St Louis, Missouri. He obtained his MD from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana and also obtained a Masters in Public Health degree while in medical school. He attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas for Internal Medicine residency and then completed Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology fellowship at Detroit Medical Center/ Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He served as Chief Interventional Fellow in Detroit and was awarded the Outstanding Fellow of the Year award. He has numerous publications in the field of cardiology. He joined The Heart Center of North Texas in 2009. He is a Fellow of The American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. He is a member of Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. He was recently featured in the Fort Worth Star Telegram and local news for performing the first high risk coronary intervention with the Impella left ventricular assist device in Tarrant County.
